SUMMER 2008 IS HERE! – FUN DAYS FULL OF ACT!ON

Fun filled days of sport and activities within a secure environment, with sport and activities indoors and out, and an exciting *outing each week. We have planned a really varied and interesting programme for our NEW LOOK Fun days.

The Fun days are tailored to suit children between the ages of 4 and 12 (inclusive) and qualified and experienced staff will support children to engage in age appropriate activities within the programme.

8.30am – 5.00pm each day - A sample of a typical day would be as follows:

8.30 – 9.00 Registration meet and greet
9.00 - 10.30 Outdoor games
10.30 – 11.00 Drinks and wind down time
11.00 – 12.30 Crafts or Skills - Art crafts /Dance/Music
12.30 – 13.00 Lunchtime – don’t forget your packed lunch
13.00 – 14.00 Movies or quiet games
14.00 – 15.30 Indoor Team games
15.30 – 17.00 Giant Games / Table tennis / skittles / playstation

This is an agreed programme, which we will endeavor to follow in full, however we reserve the right, for whatever reason, to alter the programme if it is deemed necessary.

Each week is themed and culminates with a special challenge each Friday

A typical challenge would be partaking in a mini Olympics at the end of the week – Children will be encouraged, but not forced to take part in the challenges. We are confident that they will want to take part after a week of preparation, and will gain a sense of achievement when they have met the challenges.

Theme: Bristol, Ships and things that go bump?
*Outing: Visit to the Bristol Harbour with a pirate walk

Monday 4th August – Friday 8th August

Theme: Flying machines and Hot Air balloons!
*Outing: Visit to the Helicopter Museum and W-S-M beach

Monday 11th August – Friday 15th August

Theme: Beijing then London Olympic Fever
*Outing: Treasure Hunt and games at Ashton Court

Monday 18th August – Friday 22nd August

Theme: Music and Dance

Tuesday 26th August – Friday 29th August

Theme: Dragons and Kites
*Outing: Outdoor swimming at Portishead, and a picnic at the Lake

Closed Bank Holiday Monday 25 August

Bookings can be made at the Arena in Whitchurch


*Outings for pre-booked children only - numbers are limited - children booking for full week of activities will be given preference. Children who are not booked for the full week will be charged an extra £5.00 for outing days. Outings will normally take place on a Wednesday.
