RULES

The rules of Action Netball are based on those of outdoor netball, except that the nets become an integral part of the game – the ball always remains in play, which adds to the fun and excitement of the game.

We have developed the game of Action Netball and its rules, which are exclusive to our Arenas.

Action Netball is based on the game of outdoor netball with a few modifications. The nets play a vital role, by keeping the ball in play, and giving the game a much faster pace. The game is played in two formats: 6-a-side and 7-a-side, each with their own rules.

We pride ourselves on our professionalism and attention to detail to ensure that you and your team enjoy every minute of every game.

TRI-NATIONS CUP

A squad of 23 Netball players was selected by the INA to represent England at the Tri-Nations Cup, which was in November 2007 in South Africa. Teams were entered in the U-19, Open Ladies, and Open Mixed Categories.

The Tri-Nations was a big learning curve for our players, firstly because of the fast pace of the game played by Australia and South Africa, and secondly because of the extreme heat.

LEAGUES

Coming third only seems to have inspired more enthusiasm. The girls (and yes – boys) are well and truly hooked on the indoor game, and our Netball League is now up and running on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.

TRIALS 2008

The Indoor Netball Association will be selecting 4 teams to represent England at the 2008 Indoor Netball World Cup in Brisbane, Australia from 1 – 7 June 2008. The teams selected will be in the Open Men’s, Open Ladies, Open Mixed, and U-12 Girls categories. Read more.

This is another feature of ALL the Action Indoor Sports, where male female players can compete on the same team, and enjoy competitive netball and social interaction.

Action Junior Netball

Action Junior Netball is huge! Hundreds of junior teams play in our junior leagues around the world which run all year. Both boys and girls love playing this mixed social sport. This is an excellent way of enhancing general netball skills, as all the same skill sets are utilized, coupled to an improved level of fitness.

All equipment and fully trained umpires are supplied and professional competition management is applied. Either 6 or 7 aside formats are offered across all age groups.

Leagues from primary to secondary school are offered to those interested in competing - Teams compete in regular weekly leagues with Finals weekends every 12 weeks, where the winners of all leagues are decided on the same day when the atmosphere is electric.
