Steve Brown has returned from the Desert Classic in Las Vegas to beat 160 of the UK’s top darts players at the Bristol Darts Open held at Action Indoor Sports on 12 July 2008. Steve beat Nathan Pipe 5 to 4 in the best of 9 Legs final.




The MD of Action Indoor Sports, Greg van Laun said “The success of this inaugural event has proved that our Whitcurch arena can successfully host a variety of sports, which can be enjoyed by the whole family. Chris Wassell, who co-promoted the event, and I, will be meeting with representatives of the Professional Darts Corporation in August 2008 to register the Bristol Darts Open as an annual event on the Professional and Amateur darts calendar, and look forward to welcoming the best players in the world to Whitchurch.
